About the role
This is how you get into the trade. You'll ride along with our senior technicians, learn commercial locksmithing from the ground up, and take on more of the work yourself as you go. When you're ready, you move up to Technician.
What you'll do
- Assist senior techs on service calls and installs
- Learn rekeying, lock repair, door hardware, and key cutting
- Help load, organize, and stock the van
- Take on your own jobs as your skills grow
What you need
- No locksmith experience required
- Comfortable with hand and power tools (construction, handyman, or electrical work is a plus and starts you higher)
- Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check
- Reliable, on time, and ready to learn
Pay and benefits
- $20 to $25 per hour, based on hands-on tool experience
